This condominium resort is the most scenic place to play on Kauai, thanks to eight courts terraced into a tropical hillside above Waimea Bay on the North Shore. Head pro Eric Lutz, formerly of Texas, now has 10 USTA league teams and a growing local membership.

So far, I haven't received any written feedback on Hanalei Bay Resort & Suites. If you've taken a tennis vacation there, I'd like to hear your reactions.
Other Recreation
Beach. The resort sits up on a bluff, which furnishes it with fabulous views but requires beach enthusiasts to walk a winding pathway down to the public beach or catch the occasional hotel shuttle.
Golf Courses. Guests at Hanalei Bay have playing privileges at the Princeville Golf Course.
