The Poiano Resort is situated in a valley between San Vigilio and Rocca di Garda where it has views of Lake Garda. 
Set amid palms, olive trees, vineyards, oleander, and cypress trees, the hotel itself has 120 rooms (the Residence has 160 1-to-3-bedroom apartments), a 50-meter swimming pool, 6 red-clay tennis courts (4 with lights), playgrounds, volleyball, and a synthetic football (soccer) pitch. Peter Burwash International's Ricardo Farci directs the tennis operations. Among his programs are group and private lessons, tournaments, social mixers, children's and junior clinics, game matching. The hotel also offers entertainment for adults and children and has a restaurant and bar. 
The nearest airport is Verona-Villafranca, 25 kilometers to the east.
