Rate Evert Tennis Academy (Juniors)
Like Bollettieri's and Hopman's, the Evert Tennis Academy runs junior-development programs for students who stay at the Academy full time and attend classes school at a local school, which in the case of the Evert Academy in the fully-acredited and supervised University of Miami Online or SEK Boca Prep, the latter directly across the street. Also like them, it offers a weeklong program for non-resident juniors as well as junior camps during the summer and over most major holidays. These latter programs bundle five hours a day of on-court work with another two hours daily of physical and mental conditioning and strength training. In all cases lodging is in a dormitory.
The facility has beome an official USTA Trainins Site. Chris Evert herself helps out at the academy on 90 percent of the days during the academic year. He brother John, himself a former touring pro, directs operations assisted by her father Jim, making this very much a family-run operation. Instruction takes place on 24 hard and clay courts arrayed around a two-story stucco clubhouse containing the pro shop, snack machines, offices, and classrooms. Students bed down in a three-story lodge just to the east, where they are responsible for their own laundry and for keeping their own rooms clean. The academy has room for only 40 full-time boarders at a time, which makes it the smallest of the big-name academies. (In summer, it can take up to 80 boarders.)
A new three-story building has additional bedrooms, a state-of-the-art gym, and a players' lounge and game room.

The higher rate below is for the "Developmental Program," which provides one-on-one training rather than group instruction.
