This long-established and well-regarded camp takes place on the campus of Amherst College in central Massachusetts, roughly 90 miles west of Boston and 165 miles north of New York City. Mike Gardner is back again, as he has been since the camp's inception in 1994. Their camp take place on Amherst’s 14 hard courts, 6 Har-Tru courts and indoor tennis.
Campers stay in dorms (whose lounges have TV and WiFi) and dine in the student cafeteria and have used of the college’s game room, fitness center, and swimming pool. Off court activities include skit nights, pizza parties, and off-campus movies. The basic session runs Sunday noon-Friday 3 p.m., with pickups available at the bus station in Amherst or the Hartford/Bradley airport.
Season: June 12-Aug. 5, 2016
6-day/5-night sessions. The two-week session beginning July 17 is a college tour at Williams and Amherst colleges for high-school age players 13-18. The week beginning July 24 is also high school only, ages 13-18. The four sessions from June 19 to July 15 all include a intensive tournament training option for tournament players ages 10-18.
