Situated 19 miles east of San Juan Airport, this 481-acre resort fronts a mile-long beach on the north 
(that is, Atlantic) coast of Puerto Rico. Guests in its 600 rooms gaze out on ocean or mountain views and have a full menu of recreational amenities. Those include two 18-hole golf courses (Greg Norman’s River Course and Tom and George Fazio’s Ocean Course), a watersports center, a fitness center, two very large swimming pools and a kiddie pool, bicycle rentals, and Club Iguana, which has full-day, half-day, and evening programs for children ages 4 to 12. Add to that the new Mandara Spa, which takes its inspiration from Bali and Indonesia and blends it with influences elsewhere in the world, 12 restaurants and lounges, and a casino.
Tennis players, meanwhile, can look forward to 11 clay and two hard courts.
