"This is definitely a tennis week like no other. You should definitely come away with some improvement to your game, but there is just one problem - if Roy is watching and making some of his inimitable comments, it's hard to concentrate and hit a good shot and not collapse with laughter!
To play on the courts at the Palace with the hotel behind you and the glorious mountains in front of you is magic - the crack of the ball off the racket is pretty good too! Roy and his great team of coaches make you work though - not a problem, as you can then do justice to the fabulous meals prepared by master chef Peter. Halfway through the week you get a respite: a picnic lunch in the mountains and an afternoon free to explore the village or relax in the spa.
Roy's lovely wife Joy is an expert on the region, and can always tell you the good places that are worth a visit, and the best hiking and walking trails. What more could you want - other than a forehand like Nadal and a backhand like Federer?! After a week with Roy and co., anything is possible!"—B.C., Int., March 2013

"The very best tennis week possible! The great Roy Emerson, his lovely wife and his team of excellent pros make this tennis week so special. It's great tennis, a great location and a great hotel. You can't beat this combination!"—F.T., Int., March 2013

"Nestled in the magnificent Swiss Alps in the town of Gstaad is the Hotel Palace which hosts the Roy Emerson Tennis Weeks, now in its 40th year. The accommodations and food are first class in this world renowned hotel. The red clay courts are well tended. The pros are very professional, helpful and fun to play, socialize and dine with. Most important is that Roy Emerson is ever present with his advice and charm as is his son Antony. A great tennis vacation experience not to be missed. This year Ana and I hope to make it our 5th."—M.A., Adv. Int., February 2013

"Most outstanding tennis camp I've ever been at. Staff is extremely friendly and professional too. The food at Palace Hotel itself is worth the journey. However, the very unique thing about this tennis camp is that Roy Emerson himself participates and shows how it should be done. There is no better way than learning from such a successful former pro like Roy. By the way, don't waste your time and try to beat him on the court - even tough he is already in his middle 80s, you won't stand a chance. Just amazing!

Since a was a child, I've been coming regularly to the Roy Emerson Tennis Camp - always had the best time there! I'm continuously leaving stronger than before. Besides the fact that I'm factually improving my tennis skills each day, I fancy the lovely athmosphere on the courts. Roy's unique sense of humour makes every excercise to be an unforgetable experience. Can't wait for the 2013 camp to begin!

"Roy Emerson Tennis Week in Gstaad has to be the most amazing tennis experience in the world. From the stunning setting, to the superb hotel accommodations, spa, and food, I dreamed of returning before I even left. The tennis instruction is top notch, and Roy and Joy Emerson's personal involvement with the group provides assurance that quality of experience is their number one goal. If asked, I could not think of one thing I would change about the Roy Emerson camp experience, except maybe talking to God about the weather.....which, by the way, was perfect four days out of five. Five stars out of five for this heavenly tennis camp experience."—D.H., Adv. Int., February 2013

"Incredible experience! Roy, Joy and all the pros made me feel very welcome. The Palace is a place you should absolutely visit in. Coaching was great and I got lot to my game from the week. The atmosphere during the whole week was fantastic. I'll be back!"—T.R., Int., February 2013

"During July 2012 I made my second visit to the Gstaad Palace for a Roy Emerson Tennis Week, and I was delighted to meet again so many of the friends I'd made when I attended in 2011.
Gstaad is a perfect picture-card Swiss village, and the Gstaad Palace is an excellent base, not just to play tennis but also to eat excellent food and to relax after the intensive tennis sessions. It was also nice to see that most of the coaches from 2011 were on court again (and they generally remembered my weaknesses from the previous year!)
The coaching is of a very high standard but it's also great fun - Roy's great sense of humour helps to make it so.
I've booked to attend again in July this year and I'm looking forward to another great week."—G.M., Int., January 2013

"We had a fantastic Tennis week with the great Roy Emerson and his excellent crew at the lovely Palace Hotel in Gstaad. We have been going there for many years and definitively will be back next year. Great tennis, great people and great location. You can't find anything better!"—B.T., Int., December 2012

"This was our 7th year to Gstaad. You would think we would look for something new and better. However, there is NOTHING new or better - Roy and Joy and the Palace are perfection. Five hours of excellent tennis - from drills to match play. Instructors from all over the world. When you put tennis like that in the Palace and Gstaad - well, we are spoiled. The value of this camp is excellent as well - world class instruction at a five star hotel: when you do the math, it's incredible. Roy, Joy and Antony Emerson are not just the tennis people, they are your hosts that really care about your experience. We will keep going back as long as we can play!"—K.S., Adv., December 2012
