Hosted at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix, the Doubles Tennis Bootcamp offers guests a luxurious and restorative atmosphere while they learn doubles strategy and tactics.
If you’re unsure which is more notable – you’re not alone! For starters, any occasion to experience the property of the Arizona Biltmore is worth mentioning. But, an inaugural event hosted by the renowned Peter Burwash International Team is just a bonus and even more reason to mark your calendars.
On September 13-15 and December 6-8, 2024, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the Doubles Tennis Boot Camp, which is continually recognized for its weekend of memorable yet informative tennis instruction and social nature.
The Arizona Biltmore is elegant and quaint, set amid the desert, and curated at every corner. Initially opened in 1929, this pristine resort has seen several rounds of renovations in its 100+ years in Phoenix, but the original Hollywood glamour and rich history are still incredibly apparent.
Having boasted guests as notable as Marilyn Monroe, U.S. President Irving Berlin, and those invited by the Wrigleys, to name a few, the Arizona Biltmore has seen icons across the property for decades. The resort still features Frank Lloyd Wright architectural style, intuitive hospitality, and storied history – some of the elements that continue to see guests of all backgrounds return year after year.
Doubles Boot Camp players will have the opportunity to soak in the resort’s luxury and utilize the amenities while engaging in an exhilarating, coed camp. Ideal for individuals, couples, or groups, Boot Camp is an opportunity to focus on the tactics and strategy of doubles while developing skills such as shot selection and being more aggressive as a partner on the court. Here’s a look at the full schedule, which includes 1-.5 hours of tennis instruction and play, a welcome reception, pro doubles exhibition, and more.

- 3-5:30 pm: Doubles IQ Clinic
SATURDAY:​
- 9-12noon: Relentless Attack Clinic
- 12-2 pm: Break for Lunch on your Own
- 2-4 pm: Focused Match Play
- 4-4:30 pm- Pro Exhibition at the courts following clinic
SUNDAY:
- 9-12noon: Stand Your Ground Clinic

Racquet Sports and Amenities at The Arizona Biltmore
Set on the grounds in Phoenix, you’ll find three lighted Har-Tru tennis courts and four pickleball courts managed by Peter Burwash International. Brandan Easterling, Director of Racquets, leads daily tennis and pickleball programming and instruction, and there’s no shortage of options should you choose to visit outside of the two scheduled Boot Camp weekends.
Additional amenities include two golf courses, the Tierra Luna Spa, multiple food and beverage offerings, daily resort activities for the whole family, bike rentals, several pools on-site, an ultramodern fitness center, and more.
