Two Hydro-Clay Tennis Courts are available. Dr. West has been the tennis pro at Etowah Valley Golf & Resort since 2008. He began his professional tennis career in 1970 as the teaching pro for Country Club of North Carolina at Pinehurst. In conjunction with being a tennis pro, Dr. West worked for more than 25 years teaching physical education for the North Carolina Community College System. After retiring from the community college system, Dr. West joined the Etowah Valley family and enjoyed working closely with our tennis team, clients, and guests.
Off Court
This relaxed golf resort lies 12.8 miles from Dupont State Forest and 13.8 miles from the Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site.
The resort has a 27-hole mountain golf course, a driving range, putting greens, and a casual American restaurant. Other amenities include an outdoor pool, tennis and volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits. Event/banquet facilities are also available.
Accommodations
Guests can stay in the resort's hotels, lodges or cottages during spring, summer and fall.
