Roy Emerson tennis weeks in Gstaad is a dream come true for tennis lovers. The hotel and facilities are exceptional. The tennis experience is outstanding, with superb instruction, led by the charming Roy Emerson. All arrangements are coordinated by his gracious spouse, Joy Emerson. It is a magical experience from the moment you step in to the Palace Hotel up until it is time to leave. The only weakness I can think of is that it takes some effort to get to Gstaad for overseas travelers from afar.

I have attended the Roy Emerson Tennis Weeks program for approximately 15 years. One sign of its value is the large number of returnees each year. Gstaad and the Palace Hotel and their Swiss Alps location provide a spectacular setting for the week. The instructors are a diverse international group with excellent tennis instruction backgrounds. The attendees are also quite diverse. I find it a nice balance of instruction, drill, doubles play and social interaction. The attendees are nicely grouped by tennis skill. Roy Emerson is on the court for all sessions, providing instruction, encouragement, humor and interesting tennis stories. From my perspective it is a wonderful tennis/vacation experience that you may wish to combine with additional exploration of Switzerland.

  • AE

Absolutely perfect! We went again this year(2023) for the first time since 2019. As always a spectacular experience. Pairings were ideal and we were able to play every session. Roy was always there and wonderful coaching. Joy was superb as always. Great location, food and ambiance. It has always been the best holiday ever and we hope to repeat next year.

  • MS

Its really an exceptional tennis Camp. Roy Emerson is a legendary in every way. We look forward to going back there every year. His lovely wife Joy is very much a part of this outstanding Tennis Camp at the beautiful Palace Hotel in Gstaad Switzerland.

  • DH

My husband and I have gone to Roy’s camp twice and are now making it an annual event. It is that good! I’m a novice player and was first concerned it might overwhelm me, but Roy is expert in matching players with other players of similar skill level, while still mixing it up enough to offer good variety. He attracts world-class pros and has a maximum four students per pro for all of the sessions. Roy is on the court all day first providing an overview of the stroke to be worked on that day, then staying courtside to offer advice and good natured ribbing. Roy’s wife Joy organizes every detail and quickly fixes any problem you may have. The resort is luxurious and a manageable size. Several excursions are included, as well as all meals. If you want to treat yourself to an extraordinary experience, by all means go to this camp!

The word I would use to describe the Roy Emerson Tennis Camp is…perfection! I have had the pleasure of enjoying a glorious week in Switzerland for 5 years and hope to make it another 5. I have researched other tennis camps/vacations but none compare to this one. Roy is such a wonderful host/storyteller and instructor. His team of pros is top notch and the 1:4 ratio of pros/players is fantastic. The beauty of the surrounding mountains and the old world charm of the Palace Hotel cannot be beat. I look forward to another week of improving my tennis game, meeting new friends and enjoying delicious food in the magical setting of Gstaad.

This program offers exceptional tennis in a magical setting with spectacular views of the alps, outstanding instruction from the legendary Roy Emerson and his talented coaches, and an international group of motivated players excited to share in the experience. Roy begins each morning with a demonstration on fundamentals including the forehand, the backhand, the serve, the return, the volley, the overhead, his lessons interspersed with delightful stories from past tournaments. I’ve recorded them on my phone and look at them before my matches for inspiration and guidance. The players are divided into small groups to work on skills and for match play. A delicious three-course gourmet lunch is served by waiters in tuxedos. More tennis drills in the afternoons as well as doubles play. There is some free time to enjoy the pool and spa, or to walk into the charming Swiss town of Gstaad for some shopping. Dinner is another gastronomical delight. Since most guests return year after year it’s sometimes difficult to secure a reservation. Don’t hesitate to come if you’re fortunate enough to be offered a spot.

We’ve attended Roy’s program for over 25 years and wouldn’t miss it. It’s the highlight of our year.

tennis on clay courts that are outstanding in an area of Switzerland that is beautiful and with the excellent city of Gstaad and of the high end Swiss city features and beauty. The Palace Hotel is a family run Hotel that is very highly regarded by Europeans and is open in the summer and then re-opens in the winter. They have an exceptional Italian Work Staff

This is a perfect place to improve your tennis. The analysis and the follow up instructions can and will make your game better. I emphasize the teaching is excellent/superb. More important for me it is fun. If you are having a good time you will learn more and this is an opportunity to learn and have good time.

I seriously rate Roy Emerson Tennis Camp as “simply the best” in every category including overall tennis experience, tennis pros, instruction/programs, social experience, hotel setting, cuisine, spa and amenities. I could not be more impressed with Roy and his very experienced and professional team of coaches, the red clay tennis facilities, the 5 Star Hotel/Spa accommodations and very friendly staff, the excellent hotel cuisine and, of course, the amazing mountain views in all directions. The Tennis Camp is a wonderful experience which includes expert instruction, friendly doubles play and great social activities. Roy’s engaging personality, good natured humor and fascinating stories and experiences leaves everyone feeling at ease and “part of the extended tennis family”. Everyday in a week at the Tennis Camp is an absolute delight, leaving you with great memories, some new found friends and with plans to return. Many of the Camp participants have attended numerous times which is the best testament to this one-of-a-kind experience. In fact 2023 will be my 5th year at the Tennis Camp. Once you have participated in this world class tennis experience, you’ll want to return again and again and again.

  • CS

Pitiful. “Lack of interest”. Insults? Not at all! Just some good-natured ribbing from Roy! It’s almost a shame if you don’t hear it at some point during the week! If you are looking for the best tennis holiday in the world, you have found the right place. I have attended for five years and am already booked for summer 2023. Every single part of the experience is off the charts. It all starts with Roy and Joy. Having a chance to listen to and learn from Roy is incomparable. Joy is busy behind the scenes making sure every last detail is attended to, all questions get answered and everyone is made to feel right at home. Roy brings in a top-notch staff of experienced pros from around the world. It’s really helpful to get feedback from different coaches. All of the coaches have found a way to balance teaching moments with a whole lot of fun. The setting for all this tennis is the world class Palace hotel. Absolutely beautiful place, delicious food and exceptional service by the accommodating staff. There isn’t a single thing I would change except wishing I could spend my entire summer in Gstaad and participate in every camp that Roy and Joy offer!

  • SR

This is “tennis heaven”! Your superlatives listed above in the rankings are all accurate for Tennis Week as well as the Palace Hotel. We have attended Weeks for many years and each year is always exquisite. We are greeted by hotel staff as family, Roy and Joy as hosts are present, involved daily and cannot be more gracious (we’ve heard that other camps are “in name only” for the lack of named pro on site or participating at all). The tennis instruction is pesonalized and meets each participant at their level, whatever that level may be. We tell all our friends about Tennis Weeks and this past year I sent a photo of the Palace Hotel tennis courts/spa/Alps locale with the caption: “This is why we keep coming back here!” While many participants are “repeaters”, Roy and his team always make a newcomer feel part of the family from day 1. I cannot recommend it more highly!

  • JB

Best tennis camp ever!! Roy Emerson, one of the best players ever, remains passionate about teaching. He surrounds himself with excellent group of pros. This occurs in Gstaad, spectacular alpine setting, at 5 star hotel. The only problem: the week passes too quickly.

  • JL

My wife and I are avid tennis players, albeit on different levels. I am in my mid-seventies and have played all my life. My wife is a bit younger and only took up the game 10ish years ago. We have looked for a camp that could accommodate both of our games and came up with a 100% winner with Roy’s camp. I’d hard to use too many superlatives about the experience. Five hours of instruction for a week with world class instructors on every court and no more than three other players. Roy has figured out a way to let us old guys hit for five hours and not collapse with a combination of verbal instruction on a different shot each session, then a demonstration and then – action. The Palace Hotel is a Swiss gem with a staff that is both friendly and efficient in meeting your every need. For example, we needed to ship our tennis gear there and back, since we were doing more traveling and they handled it with ease. We will return as long as Roy & Joy continue to offer this outstanding experience. Oh, did I mention that my tennis has taken an upturn even at age 74!!!!!

  • PH

This is simply a fabulous tennis camp located in the most beautiful setting in the Swiss Bernois alps. Everything is first class. The pro team, the tennis sessions, the courts and above all Roy Emersons professional and encouraging advice all put your game on the right track no matter at what level of play you are. The accommodation, food and service at the top notch Palace Hotel are second to nothing. The whole week so well organized. I am a long time returnee. If you’re looking for a unique tennis experience and a great holiday, don’t hesitate to attend.

  • MF

I highly recommend Roy Emerson’s Tennis Weeks. What could be more enjoyable than five hours of tennis each day lead by the great Roy Emerson and his staff of tennis pros from around the world? Accommodations are at the five star Gstaad Palace Hotel which has spectacular views of the Swiss mountains. The package includes three sumptuous meals per day. For the best tennis vacation, try Emerson’s Tennis Weeks once, and you will want to return again and again.

  • DK

Roy Emerson’s tennis week was phenomenal. The instruction by Roy and his select pros (from around the globe) was fantastic – detailed and very focused on each individual player. I loved loved the program and enjoyed instruction and match play in the mornings and afternoons. The Palace Hotel in Gstaad is first class in all ways – ambience, cuisine, service, scenery. Roy and Joy Wmerson organize a not-to-be-missed tennis and holiday experience. I’m already booked for another week in 2023.

  • GM

More than a high-end tennis teaching experience, Roy Emerson Tennis Week combines daily instruction (6 hours of instruction and match play) by “the GOAT” himself; supplemental instruction by the likes of Boris Bosnjakovic (Director, Djokovic Tennis Academy, Belgrade) and others. Doubles “match play” on the “red clay” followed by dinner at The Palace Hotel makes this an exceptional experience. Am reserved again for 2023 GJM

  • JT

Last summer I had the great pleasure of attending The Roy Emerson Tennis Week at the Place Hotel in Gstaad, Switzerland and plan to return again this year, to this very in demand Superb tennis experience, consisting of top class coaching and instruction by Roy and his world class pros. It was priceless spending time with Roy and his wife and hear him in the evening regale stories from his glory days on the circuit. Afternoons, we played beautifully organized games with new friends from all over the world and daily we enjoyed the most delicious meals, a true gastronomic, paired with excellent wines. The hotel is set in this very beautiful and charming Swiss town of Gstaad where we enjoyed visiting and world class shopping.

  • BT

You can‘t beat the incredible combination of being on the tennis court and learning from the great Roy Emerson and his excellent team at this magnificent location and wonderful luxury hotel. The best tennis camp ever!!

  • JG

The Roy Emerson Tennis Week is world class. In fact, we’d go so far as to say it is the best in the world. My wife and I have been three times and are thrilled to be returning for our fourth. We’ve met lifelong friends during our previous stays. Roy and Joy are special people that take great care in curating the agenda, and in ensuring that guests have the best time possible. They have sourced tennis pros from around the world who are top notch and return year after year. Irrespective of your skill level (and there is a broad range), they are able to cater the intensity and feedback, and you will be sure to come away a better player. We’d be remiss not to comment on the location which is magical and makes for the full experience – the Gstaad Palace hotel is beautiful. Truly five star accommodations, food, service, and amenities, amongst a spectacular setting that in our view is an unparalleled place for this tennis week. We feel very fortunate to have discovered this whole experience – it is the best there is.

  • RR

Excellent tennis experience, warm atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and outstanding hospitality. Joy and Roy are exceptional hosts who entertained all of us.

  • TC

My wife and I have attended the Roy Emerson Tennis Week at the Palace Hotel in Gstaad at least 15 times (and often for multiple weeks). Set in a Swiss village in the Alps, the setting is spectacular: from the red clay courts surrounded by the mountains, the ambience of the Palace one of Switzerland’s finest hotels, the excellent food, an experienced instructional staff from all parts of the globe and a diverse group of participants make for an excellent week of tennis and socializing. Roy Emerson is at every session and an active instructor, with great humor and stories. The sessions are well structured, with considerable opportunity for play. Groups are small and are organized by skill level and the instructors are knowledgeable and delightful. The only weakness is the inability to control the weather. It is always a bit disappointing when the occasional rain day forces the program to use an excellent set of inside courts, but with no direct view of the mountains. This program has a large number of repeat attendees which testifies to its quality.

  • TF

We’ve attended the camp for 8 years and one thing that strikes me each year is that Roy is having at least as much fun as you are. He’s been doing this for around 50 years and yet he remains enthusiastic about sharing whatever you can absorb from his experiences. His wife Joy has told us how much she loves returning to Gstaad and the Palace each year, and the preparation and coordination she puts into the weeks reflect this. The package manages to combine elegance with informality. The hotel, staff and food are 5 star, and the setting is out of this world. The assistant pros Roy brings in are very pleasant, competent and flexible and we’ve enjoyed knowing all of them. There are nice touches such as dinner at a Swiss restaurant and a last night celebration. I think most people who attend would agree that the mid week picnic on a mountain pasture is truly unique. Given everything the week offers, I strongly doubt that anyone else could ever offer anything close. It’s a bucket list type experience. And, if you’ve never attended before, the Virginia Wade story alone is worth the trip.

  • AF

I did my second tennis week with Roy Emerson in late August 2021 and, just like my first time in Gstaad, my experience was fantastic. Top-notch tennis instruction with Roy and his excellent team of pros, stupendous accommodations and food, and the interaction with other tennis players from around the world make these tennis weeks a very unique experience. I’m looking forward to playing on the red clay of the Palace Hotel and seeing Roy and his wife Joy again this year. They always put together a great week of tennis for players of all levels!

  • RS

I have been going to the Roy Emerson Tennis Week for over 10 years. Sometimes I will spend 2 weeks with Roy and his Tennis Pros. Roys’ camp is very organized with exceptional instruction from Roy and the Pros. If anyone is having difficulty with any technique Roy will have someone work with them on an individual basis. This is more than a camp, Roy takes great pride in his Tennis week. It is from his heart, his spirit, that you gain the knowledge and experience that you can take home with you and continue on your path to be a better, stronger tennis player. He makes sure you have 8 hours of tennis every day, even if it rains………Roy will find a place for you to play, you can count on that. On the last night, Roy hosts a “going away” dinner. If I have heard his story once, I have heard it several other times. I say this because to listen to Roy, his passion for his life experiences allows you to live in the moment. His wife, Joy, is such a gentle spirit. She is at his side making sure everything is in order as he wants. She has such eye for detail; from the moment you walk into the Gstaad Palace you will feel the presence of greatness. As you gaze upon the alps you will leave a piece of you heart there as well and wish for a moment in time to stop. Time goes on and then once again, it is time to come back. You will wish for the time to return to go as quick as it can. Then one day, Roy will call you and it is as if he has once again saved you a place where you and him will join together to make more wonderful stories in his camp. There is always the picnic that will always be a part of your heart as well. No one will ever be able to show you how to make cheese like at the picnic and even better, the cheese is the freshest ever.

  • GM

The setting, hospitality and coaching are outstanding. The palace hotel is not really convenient for many types if I wheelchair users

  • VR

Have been to Roy’s magical summers at Gstaad many times, but I feel not often enough. Fifty years straight, Roy has been delighting the lucky attendees with a great setting, sumptuous game improving pros and tennis, and of course his larger than life, legendary wit and personality. Just about 20 to 25 a week, so we all get a lot of attention and feel special. That’s why this institution has stood the test of time, much like the beautiful Swiss mountains in which it is nestled.

  • MM

Every visit, since 2003, has been “tennis heaven”. It’s the ultimate combination of excellence: wonderful setting, a none-better hotel, solicitous staff, beautiful clay courts, unbeatable hospitality created by Joy and Roy and pros, and the resultant atmosphere that has become truly addictive.

  • JC

The only source of knowledge is experience… For a tennis buff indulging in Roy Emerson’s tennis week at the Palace hotel in Gstaad is the best memory to treasure for the rest of life. Outstanding and passionate tips from Roy makes the love of tennis more intense. Joyful interaction on tennis and anecdotes of “The golden Era” from the legend himself, who holds the world record of 28 grand slams, is the experience you should be honoured and privileged to receive. Thought is a powerful media. Once the thought to go to Gstaad is decided, only effort required is, to send a mail to Joy. Your tennis week works more precisely, more memorably and more JOYFULLY, than experiencing Wimbledon or any other grand slam. Joy is so meticulous, so precise, so gentle and so caring…The ambiance and the spread on the table to treat the taste buds, are outstanding. Time is a premium. Consume the joyful experience soon..

  • MF

Over the past 6 years I have attended Roy Emerson Tennis Weeks and I hope to attend again this summer. Roy Emerson has created the best tennis camp ever. If you are looking for a beautiful mountain setting, accommodations in a 5 star hotel, awesome dining, lessons from “the” Roy Emerson and his great staff of both Swiss and international pros, then you will love Emerson Tennis Weeks.

  • CS

Let’s start with weaknesses. That’s easy. None. This past summer was my fourth year attending the camp. There are so many strengths of the week long session and the reasons I keep going back! The setting is fabulous. The beauty of Gstaad can’t be compared to any place else. The views from the courts never get old.The hotel is fancy without being pretentious. The décor is cozy, the staff is friendly and everything runs smoothly. Joy is a great hostess keeping everything organized and helping those of us (cough cough) who may be picky eaters and want to book alternative meals at times. The spa is to die for particularly after a full day of tennis. But speaking of tennis, let’s get to that. Possibly the best part of all this is the fact that you can play five hours of tennis a day! I love it. However, if you want to take a session off to rest or go somewhere else, that is perfectly fine too. The staff is wonderful. All so knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Highlighting this crew is Roy himself. I love that he truly seems to enjoy his time meeting all the campers, telling stories, doling out some good-natured (I think??!?!) ribbing and helping us all improve our skills. Throw in a mountain picnic, seeing old friends from previous years, meeting new friends from a variety of different countries, drinks and dancing at GreenGo and a cow festival in town and it really is a perfect week. I’m already dreaming of a return in summer 2020!!

  • EK

I understand that everyone has a different expectation of their vacation or what they want out of camp, but I have recommended this camp to everyone because it covers so many areas of interest. I specifically am going to better my tennis game, enjoy the views, be pampered, make new friends, see old friends, talk tennis with instructors and Roy, use the Spa, enjoy the atmosphere at dinner and make memories. This week covers it all which is why we will return every year.

  • TC

I have attended Roy Emerson Tennis Weeks for 10 of the last 11 years and hope to participate in 2020. It is held at the Palace Hotel, a five star venue in Gstaad Switzerland. Anytime you look up from the red clay courts you are surrounded by the Alps. The area is beautiful. The tennis is a mix of instruction, drills and doubles play. The instructors are a mix of internationals and Suisse professionals, all with extensive teaching experience and many with tour credentials. With two 2.5 hour sessions (morning and afternoon), there is a lot of tennis. The program does a good job of matching skill levels and tennis intensity as it groups participants for each of the sessions. Roy Emerson is on the court for all of the sessions (from start to finish) and is readily accessible. The Palace Hotel is quite sophisticated in terms of lodging, wine and food and Gstaad offers numerous recreational and cultural opportunities. We always stay before and after the program to enjoy what the area offers. It is a relaxed environment, with the participants coming from diverse and interesting backgrounds. I am always impressed by the number of returnees each year and the number who have attended more than ten years. If you want to drill constantly and hit a ton of balls this program may not be best for you. If you want a lot of fun tennis with diverse and interesting attendees and instructors in a beautiful and sophisticated setting, the Roy Emerson Tennis Weeks is a perfect choice.

  • SP

Roy and Joy Emerson are not only the ultimate hosts and friends, but having just returned from my third Gstaad week, you are part of their extended tennis family. Roy, with his trusty clipboard, copious notes and top Aussie spirit, generously shares his time, expertise and energy with every single player—each and every day. His coaching team are top-notch, with many Grand Slam champs eager to share their knowledge and stories in an professional but relaxed setting. The staff of the Palace Hotel are beyond 5-star, and the lodgings, food, service are equally matched by the spectacular Alps scenery. The Roy Emerson Tennis Week is the ultimate tennis experience and holds such a special place in my heart—and I’ll be back again in 2020.

  • KS

Our 15th camp with Joy and Roy and the Palace! We’ve encouraged friends to come and enjoyed a great camp with them and the friends we’ve made at the Palace through the years. I can’t say enough about the quality of the instruction: the coaches come from all over the world bringing experiences that are unequal at most camps including Grand Slam winners. And that doesn’t even include Roy – one of the winningest players on record! The Palace is a rarity – a family run five star hotel. Plush rooms and outstanding food and service! If you want a tennis camp and a lovely vacation – this is your place!

  • CF

Roy Emerson’s tennis week are rated number 1 year after year for a reason. With the perfect backdrop of the Swiss Alps and top notch tennis instruction, you won’t find another place that offers what this camp does. Add to that a 5 star hotel and fantastic staff and you’ll be signing up for years to come. It’s the best week of the year.

  • TF

2019 was our sixth consecutive year attending the Emerson camp. We keep returning because this is a tennis experience that cannot be duplicated anywhere else. It’s obvious Roy loves sharing his knowledge and experience with anyone regardless of ability. He’s able to call in a group of excellent pros who are patient and very good teachers, and we’ve been happy with all of them. Part of the uniqueness is the combination of informality and elegance. The Palace is a first class hotel and the meals are very good. The staff strive for the best service, yet they are friendly and easygoing, and seem pleased that you are able to be there. Roy and his wife Joy are fully involved–they are the tennis program administration. Everything is handled through them, so the service is quite personal. That in itself is pretty rare (can I say unique again?). Finally, where else can you enjoy a great buffet served by the hotel staff on a mountain pasture followed by Roy Emerson leading the a cappella singing of Edelweiss from the porch of a rustic cheesemaking hut for the entertainment of the local herd of cows? In the Alps. The Swiss Alps.

  • PB

Outstanding Tennis Experience in a World Class Setting! Simply the Best! This was our Third Roy Emerson Tennis Week Experience at the Gstaad Palace Hotel in Gstaad, Switzerland, and I can state (without any doubt) that this continues to reign as the very best tennis camp/resort experience in the world. It scores an ‘Outstanding’ in every category – from (i) the 5 Star Luxury/Spa hotel accommodations at the renowned Gstaad Palace (surrounded by breathtaking Swiss Alps views), (ii) the expert tennis coaching by Roy Emerson (holder of 12 Grand Slam Singles and 16 Grand Slam Doubles Championships) and his seasoned team of accomplished Teaching Pros who are expert in evaluating the playing levels of all participants and matching them up accordingly, (iii) the special social activities hosted by Roy and Joy Emerson, including an afternoon picnic in the mountains, a dinner in the Bagatelle Restaurant at the picturesque Grand Chalet Hotel, and a fun filled farewell dinner accompanied by local musicians and engaging storytellers (ok, Roy) and last but not least, (iv) to the lasting rapport that develops between the Camp participants and the Team of Roy, Joy and Teaching Pros (who all clearly love teaching and making the participants feel at home). Many of the Camp participants, like us, have attended numerous times which is the best testament to this one-of-a-kind experience. We’ve already booked another week next year.

  • SE

An exceptional experience. Tennis is absolutely professional. Roy, Joy and the pros are interested in you. You are always being watched, evaluated and instructed. If you have an area which you would both like and probably should improve – they are there for you. The pairings are spot on. Everything is genuine and the organization works because of Roy and Joy and the amount of work they put into it. Lastly and maybe most importantly — it is FUN.

  • EB

In a word, fabulous! Can’t wait to go again next year.

  • RB

The five-star venue and expert coaching from a (very patient!} team of professionals would be enough of a draw in themselves, but it’s also a social event not to be missed, all genially presided over by a tennis legend. An annual must.

  • JB

Best tennis camp ever!! Roy Emerson, one of the best players ever, remains passionate about teaching and surrounds himself with a group of excellent pros to move your game to the next level. Camp is held in spectacular alpine setting at five star resort hotel. The experience can’t be beat. The weeks fill up quickly, so don’t delay in reserving a slot.

  • EC

I returned for my third trip to Roy Emerson’s Tennis Week this July. Since my first time here, I have looked forward to partaking in this amazing experience every year and will continue to return. Having a legend like Roy Emerson instruct you is such a valuable asset to your tennis game, and the international pros cannot be more helpful. The Palace has mastered the art of hospitality. The rooms are lovely and the views are straight out of a postcard. The graciousness of Joy and Roy Emerson is the hallmark of such a wonderful week filled with tennis, great food, beautiful mountains, and camaraderie. I cannot identify a weakness, except that the week should be longer! Might I suggest the Roy Emerson Tennis Fortnight?

  • LM

Once you’ve attended to Roy Emerson Tennis Week at Gstaad Palace in Switzerland… there is no way you are not coming back. I am there 6 years in row now. Everything is perfect about that place- ROY EMERSON and his lovely wife Joy- they have been married 60 years, red clay courts and all coaches are super professional and helpful, hotel itself and restaurants with most delicious food and wine selection… and breathing mountain surroundings… Although program is the same for every tennis week- I love every minute of it- from tennis and spa to picnic in mountain’s farm. It’s just perfect.

  • RR

Tennis in the alps, good fun with friends and others attending the event. Roy and Joy are exceptional.

  • PH

This camp is just a magnificent tennis experience in the most wonderful setting in the Swiss alps in Gstaad. The Palace hotel is simply sublime. Roy Emerson runs the camp with his charming wife Joy as smoothly as a Swiss watch. It‘s quite unique that you get to be so close to one of the greatest tennis legends of all time.

  • BT

We spent an absolutely wonderful week with the magnificent Roy Emerson and his great team of Pros from all over the world at the wonderful Palace Hotel in Gstaad. Roy is not only a living legend of the sport – he is truly the best tennis instructor there can be! He gives great advice, he shows superb exercises on how to improve your game, and he has this wonderful sense of understanding and of humor. Roy is always on the court and full of energy, he is just amazing and it is such a joy to be able to share time with him. His lovely wife Joy supports him wonderfully, she takes care of the administrative side and makes sure all the wishes of the participants concerning the hotel or recreational aspects come true. I enjoyed my week in July so much that I immediately signed up for another week this September. I can hardly wait to be back!
