The Homestead, America’s Freshwater Resort, on Lake Michigan is one of those tennis gems little known outside its immediate geographic area. Its five clay courts, one of them a stadium, have been given a prime location adjacent to the beach and beach club. There are excellent children’s programs, biking and nature trails, a 9-hole golf course and both junior and adult golf academies.

    Very nice tennis setting and excellent courts right on lake Michigan. Accommodations nice and comfortable but slightly dated. Lots to do for adults and kids in area including swimming, hiking, biking, kayaking, beaches and sleeping bear dunes. Tennis program started after we left on June 28 but local pros (Jim & joe) were available to provide great private sessions.
