PGA Resort is the centerpiece of a 2,340-acre resort/residential development in Palm Beach Gardens, roughly six miles inland from the Atlantic Coast.
As the name suggests, the resort reserves its greatest enthusiasm for golf—it has five courses, one of them the site of the PGA’s Honda Classic—it also encompasses an impressive 33,000-square-foot sports and racquet complex, a spa with 33 treatment rooms, a 339-room hotel, several swimming pools, and half a dozen restaurants and bars.
With 19 courts, PGA National has one of the largest resort complexes along the Miami-Boca Raton-Palm Beach corridor. Of even greater importance, however, is between hotel guests and the 400+ local members these courts get used. Some 18 USTA league teams, ranging from 2.5 to 5.0, play out of here and the facility hosts large national junior events like the “Little Mo” tournament.
Tennis Staff: Racquet sports director, Alexandru Pop-Moldovan, former professional and coach on the ATP Tour and pickleball professional, has been at the resort for three years. He and his dedicated professional staff provide the club’s members and hotel guests with a variety of programs for racquet sports. Those include daily clinics, weekly social round robins, private lessons, as well as custom-designed racquet events for groups and teams. The resort also offers pickleball and POP tennis.
Court Complex: There are 16 Har-Tru courts (11 with lights) and 12 pickleball courts. These have been arrayed on three sides of the Sports and Racquet Club, which also contains the expansive racquet-sports pro shop.

I absolutely LOVE PGA National tennis! My family and I used to vacation regularly to Palm Beach Gardens. So much so, that we joined the PGA National Club for tennis, golf and recreation. As of last summer, we moved down to PBG permanently! A large part of our decision to move was based on our experience at PG National. I met so many nice, friendly and active people through the tennis center. Now, these part-time acquaintances have become my good friends. I love waking up every day to play tennis at a fantastic facility, with amazing pros and an embracing tennis community! 5 stars in my book!

Tennis at the PGA Resort and Spa is the reason to be there. 19 courts, hard and hard tru. The staff is amazing and the director of tennis runs doubles matches for most holidays. Lessons ar available any time by appointment Just for the fun and for the more serious tennis players PGA National is a great place to be. Spa for relaxation is first class.

When I moved from downtown Chicago to FL I was a little worried that there wouldn’t be enough to do. PGA National has it all and more! I’ve been down here for four years now but have only been a member of PGA for a little over a year and I think I’ve been at the club almost everyday. I was a beginner player at 45 years old, tennis has opened up a whole new world for me not only is it excellent exercise but I have made many friends, discovered a passion for team sports and love that I can play everyday with new and old friends. The members are all super sweet and welcoming. Being a member feels like I’m at a private resort year round with all the tennis, golf (for my husband and son) excellent exercises classes and I must add that the employees are top notch, they clearly invest in hiring only the best. It is a pleasure being part of the PGA National family.
