Located in Brush Creek Valley, 12 miles west of the town of Aspen, the Snowmass Club comprises an 11-court tennis complex, golf course, spa, fitness center, a restaurant; and privately owned 2- and 3-bedrooms residences and a few 4- and 5-bedroom townhomes. however, the wings that once contained the rooms at the lodge have been replaced by private residential club comprised of 2- and 3-bedroom units each with multiple owners (a variation on vacation timeshares). In the meantime, guests can stay either at the condominiums just across from the Club or elsewhere in Snowmass.
All of the club’s extraordinary recreational amenities remain operational. Its year-round facilities include a state-of-the-art fitness center, two heated outdoor swimming pools, and two indoor tennis courts. In summer, guests have an 18-hole golf course designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, 9 outdoor tennis courts, and access to mountain bikes. In winter, shuttles deliver skiers to the downhill slopes of any of the region’s four areas. Cross-country skiers have 30 kilometers of groomed track virtually right outside the lodge door.

We moved to Aspen 7 months ago from San Francisco, California. We are enjoying living near Snowmass Club. It offers so many things that there’s no need to drive once you are here. There are restaurants, golf course, tennis courts, outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, spa and kids play area. There are also hiking/mountain biking paths near by. It is walking distance to the Two Creeks ski lift and there are buses running regularly to drop you off at the bottom of the Snowmass mountain. Since 4 weeks ago, I started taking tennis clinic in the morning with Kevin Arias. I had many tennis instructors in the past but Kevin is exceptional. He picks up quickly what you are doing wrong and then gives you tips that will change your tennis skills to the next level. Within 4 weeks, Kevin helped me hit the ball with powerful top spin that I never had. He also helped me areas including volley and serve. I can now put powerful top spin on my serve with no effort. I can serve 100 balls and get no pain on my shoulder anymore. It’s pretty amazing. I highly reccomend to try out tennis clinic or private lesson while visiting Snowmass Club. Make sure to get Kevin. It’s worth it!
I live in the Roaring Fork Valley about 15 minutes from the Snowmass Lodge and Club. My kids have been participating in the junior tennis clinics for the past two years and it is outstanding. The class ratio in the winter is 5 to 1 and in the summer 12-1. Great instruction with Jeff and Sean overseen by Gayle Goodwin. I myself have participated in several of the adult clinics and tennis mixers and they are fantastic! Overall a great place for tennis families with instruction and mixers for everyone.
