This 1,840-acre ranch in the Oregon Cascades encompasses meadows, ponds, and forests, and a variety of accommodations, from lodge rooms to large private homes.
With 18 hard courts (two of them lined for pickleball) scattered across four locations, guests are never very far from courts. The recreation center maintains a list of players looking for games but the better bets are the weekly men’s, ladies’, and mixed doubles round robins scheduled throughout the summer. USPTA-certified pro Evan Sims, a former college player, directs the tennis and pickleball programs, offering group and private lessons for all ages and levels. Tennis aside, the expansive property has an abundance of recreation, including horseback riding, canoeing and kayaking, fishing, two lakes, bike and hiking trails, rock climbing, two 18-hole golf courses, and five swimming pools (one of them indoor-outdoor).
